Genflix Copyright Infringement Policy (India)

Introduction

At Genflix, we respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, we have established this policy for responding to claims of copyright infringement on our platform. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed, or if you are the subject of a takedown request, please follow the procedures outlined below.

1. Filing a Copyright Infringement Claim

If you are a copyright owner (or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content on Genflix infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright infringement notice. To ensure a smooth process, your notice must include the following information:

• Your Contact Information: Full name, email address, physical address, and phone number.
• Identification of the Infringed Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including a URL or other specific location where the material is found on Genflix.
• Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• Statement of Accuracy: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.

2. Counter-Notification by the User

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include the following:

• Identification of the Removed Content: A description of the material that was removed and the specific URL or location where it appeared before removal.
