Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of security by requiring a second verification step to access your account. Here’s a step-by-step guide to setting up 2FA for your Notion Plus account:
Step 1: Login to Your Account
- Go to the Notion website or open the Notion app.
- Use the login email and temporary password provided in your final email to log in.
- After logging in, update your password to a strong one (if not done already).
Step 2: Access Security Settings
- Click on your profile picture (top-right corner) or the gear icon to open the settings menu.
- Navigate to Settings & Members > My Account (if using a browser) or Account Settings (if using the app).
Step 3: Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Locate the Two-Factor Authentication option in the Security section.
- Click on Set Up 2FA or Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
- Enter your current password to proceed.
Step 4: Link Your 2FA App
- Download an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.
- A QR code will appear on your screen. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code.
