Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of security by requiring a second verification step to access your account. Here’s a step-by-step guide to setting up 2FA for your Notion Plus account:

Step 1: Login to Your Account

  1. Go to the Notion website or open the Notion app.
  2. Use the login email and temporary password provided in your final email to log in.
  3. After logging in, update your password to a strong one (if not done already).

Step 2: Access Security Settings

  1. Click on your profile picture (top-right corner) or the gear icon to open the settings menu.
  2. Navigate to Settings & Members > My Account (if using a browser) or Account Settings (if using the app).

Step 3: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Locate the Two-Factor Authentication option in the Security section.
  2. Click on Set Up 2FA or Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Enter your current password to proceed.

Step 4: Link Your 2FA App

  1. Download an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.
  2. A QR code will appear on your screen. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code.
