1. Receive Your Order & Prepare
- Check Your Email:
- Look for an email with Steam login details
- Disable Antivirus Temporarily:
- Some files (like launchers or patches) might trigger false positives. It’s recommended to disable antivirus during installation.
2. Install Steam (If Not Already Installed)
- Download Steam:
- Go to the Steam website and click on “Install Steam” to download the setup file.
- Install Steam:
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
3. Log In to Steam
- Launch Steam:
- Open the Steam application on your computer.
- Enter Credentials:
- Use the username and password received in your email to log in to Steam.
- Note:
- If Steam prompts for a Steam Guard code to be entered on another machine, cancel the prompt and select Remote Play instead.
- This allows you to connect properly without needing a code from the other device.
4. Download the Game
- Access Your Library:
- Once logged in, click the “Library” tab at the top of Steam.
- Install the Game:
- Select Red Dead Redemption from the library.
- Click Install to begin the download.
- If a Stream Button Appears :
- Click the arrow next to it and select “This Computer” to start the local download.
- Wait for the Download to Finish:
- Large games like Red Dead Redemption 2 can take some time, depending on your internet speed.
5. Set Steam in Offline Mode
- After Download Completes:
- Go to the top-left corner of the Steam window and click on Steam > Go Offline.
- Confirm the prompt to restart Steam in offline mode.
